Online Delay—Evaluation Control for Networked Control Systems

This paper presented an evaluation approach of time delays for networked control systems (NCS). An improved scheme based on optimal LQG control was designed to achieve desired performance despite the uncertain delays in the system. The experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control design and satisfactory performance of the closed-loop system.     

A Semi—blind Adaptive Beamforming Algorithm for Wideband Coherent CDMA

This paper presented a novel semi-blind adaptive beamforming algorithm specially designed for wideband coherent CDMA mobile communication systems with multiplexd control and data channels. The presented algo-rithm uses a parallel structure to exploit not only the desired user‘s pseudo noise sequence but also the information from multiplexed pilot and data symbols, thus help achieve faster convergence and lower bit error rate. Monte Carlo simulation results verified the performance improvement in terms of BER.     

Combining Single（Mixed） Metric Approach and Genetic Algorithm for QoS Routing Problem

A hybrid algorithm for the delay constrained least cost path problem is proposed through combination of single(mixed)metric approach and genetic algorithm．Compared with the known genetic algorithm for the same problem，the new algorithm adopts integral coding scheme and new genetic operator，which reduces the search space and improves the efficiency of genetic operation．Meanwhile，the single(mixed)approach accelerates the convergence speed．Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can find near-optimal even optimal solutions within moderate numbers of generations．

Research on Network Delays of Networked Control Systems

In networked control systems (NCS), the main problem is time delays induced by communication network, which can deteriorate the performance of the systems, even cause the systems instability. If we know the exact network delays, we can compensate for their effect by modifying the parameters of the controller. Hence how to get the knowledge of these delays in the network is critical. This paper analyzed the different characteristics of network delays from sensor to controller and from controller to actuator and presented the methods of online evaluaticm of these delavs. The experiment shows these methods are valid.
