An overview of the many water-impact (slamming) problems in ship and ocean engineering is given. Theoretical and experimental drop tests of horizontal and nearly horizontal elastic plates are reviewed. It is shown that maximum pressure cannot be used to estimate maximum slamming-induced stresses when maximum pressure is large, because dynamic hydroelastic effects then become important. Further, the significance of hydroelasticity increases with decreasing dead-rise angle, increasing impact velocity, and increasing the value of the highest local natural period of the structure. It is emphasized that the slamming problem must be hydrodynamically studied from a structural point of view. Comparisons between theory and full-scale measurements of slamming-induced local strains in the wet-deck of a catamaran are presented. The importance of the rigid body vertical accelerations and the influence of the side-hulls on the impact velocity are pointed out. Received: October 4, 2000  相似文献

This paper presents an effective scheme for computing the wave-induced hydroelastic response of a very large floating structure, and a validation of its usefulness. The calculation scheme developed is based on the pressure-distribution method of expressing the disturbance caused by a structure, and on the mode-expansion method for hydroelastic deflection with the superposition of orthogonal mode functions. The scheme uses bi-cubic B-spline functions to represent unknown pressures, and the Galerkin method to satisfy the body boundary conditions. Various numerical checks confirm that the computed results are extremely accurate, require relatively little computational time, and contain few unknowns, even in the region of very short wavelengths. Measurements of the vertical deflections in both head and oblique waves of relatively long wavelength are in good agreement with the computed results. Numerical examples using shorter wavelengths reveal that the hydroelastic deflection does not necessarily become negligible as the wavelength of incident waves decreases. The effects of finite water depth and incident wave angle are also discussed.  相似文献

海上极端波因其巨大的波高常常导致船体的极限破坏。该文提出了一个二维的修正水弹性方法来研究一个集装箱船船体梁在极端波中的动态前极限强度。传统的极限强度评估基于准静态方法,没有动态效应被考虑。而船体在波浪下的动态结构响应是基于水弹性方法,传统的水弹性方法并不能计算船体梁的动态非线性强度。该二维修正的水弹性方法考虑时域波浪和非线性船体梁之间的耦合,将水弹性方法和Smith方法结合,用Smith方法计算船体梁的刚度,而其刚度与船体梁的强度和变形曲率有关。所以该时域的非线性刚度被用于修改水弹性方法里的常数项的结构梁刚度。几组极端波模型被用以产生船体梁的大变形和非线性动态垂向弯矩。文中分别采用修正水弹性方法和普通水弹性方法,通过改变四个重要的极端波参数如极端波最大波高、规则波的波高、波速和波长等来研究其对船体梁船中处的大变形转角和非线性垂向弯矩的影响,通过采用修正的水弹性方法计算得来的结果与水弹性方法计算得来的结果相比较,得到了一些差异和结论。  相似文献

This paper deals with the dispersion relation of hydroelastic waves in pontoon-type very large floating structures (VLFS) using a simple beam modeling, where the term hydroelastic waves means propagation of deflection vibrations in VLFS. The purpose of this paper is to show the properties of the hydroelastic waves. The dispersion relation of hydroelastic waves propagating in an infinite plate floating on the water is derived based on the linear water wave theory. The effects of the water depth and of the bending rigidity of the floating plate on the wavelength, phase velocity, and group velocity of the hydroelastic waves are shown theoretically or numerically. Then, the dispersion relation of hydroelastic waves in a finite plate floating on shallow water is investigated. This study investigates the hydroelastic analysis of a moored SFT (submerged floating tunnel) and the corresponding hydrodynamic pressure distribution under wave excitations. Time-domain discrete-module-beam (DMB) method, in which an elastic structure is modeled by multiple sub-bodies with beam elements, is employed to express the deformable tunnel with multiple mooring lines. Moreover, the top-down scheme is also adopted for detailed structure analyses with less computational cost, which applies the calculated hydrodynamic pressure distribution over SFT's surface to the three-dimensional finite element model. The hydrodynamic pressure includes both wave-induced diffraction pressure and motion-induced radiation pressure. For the validation of the developed numerical approach, comparisons are made with computationally intensive hydroelastic-structural direct-coupled method, two-dimensional wave flume experiment, and independently developed inhouse moored-SFT-simulation program. Furthermore, the influences of flexural motions with buoyancy-weight ratio (BWR) (or bending stiffness) and regular/irregular wave conditions on the dynamic pressure distribution and the resulting local stresses are investigated.  相似文献

This paper deals with the dynamic response and strength of very large floating structures (VLFS) in regular and irregular waves, considering the propagation of the hydroelastic deflection wave of the structure. First, a simplified estimation method is presented for the dynamic response and strength of the structure in regular waves. Then, the validity of the method is demonstrated by comparing its results with analytical results and experimental results for a mat-type floating structure model. Next, a simplified estimation method for dynamic responses under long crested irregular wave conditions is presented by using the above results and by combining them with irregular sea wave spectra. Finally, the applicability of the method is investigated through numerical examples carried out for a 4,800-m class VLFS under trial design. 对于设计和使用在波浪和流作用下作业的浮桥,充分了解其水弹性性能尤为重要.就在国防和桥梁工程中极为重要的带式舟桥而言,预报其在波浪中的水弹性响应在实际工程中就显得十分必要.该文主要研究带式舟桥在波浪作用下的水弹性性能.首先,简要地介绍了预报浮桥动力响应的不同方法及它们与试验比较的结果;其次,在三维水弹性理论的基础上采用模态叠加法对带式舟桥的有限元模型进行了水弹性分析,同时与十分之一模型试验结果做了比较(该试验由上海交通大学海洋工程国家重点实验室承担).研究表明,文中的方法计算分析波浪中浮桥的水弹性响应是可行的.  相似文献

Vertical bending moment (VBM) is of crucial importance in ensuring the survival of vessels in rough seas. With regard to conventional vessels, wave-induced maximum VBM is normally considered to be experienced in head seas. It is conservative to determine the extreme VBM based on either numerical simulations or model tests in long-crested head seas. Extensive model tests have been conducted in head seas with focus on the nonlinear vertical responses in severe seas, and the measured results were compared with numerical calculations for validation. Unexpected phenomena, however, were observed during the model tests of an ultra-large containership. The maximum sagging and hogging VBMs were encountered in oblique seas. Furthermore, the significant wave height used in oblique seas was even smaller than that used in head seas. The nonlinear vertical load effects in oblique seas require further investigations for this particular vessel. Limited experimental results in oblique seas have been reported, in which the lateral responses were always more concerned than the vertical responses. Up to now, rare systematic comparisons of the nonlinear vertical responses between head and oblique seas have been published, especially when the hydroelastic effects are also accounted for. A 13000-TEU ultra-large containership model, which was designed by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), has been tested in the towing tank and the ocean basin at the Marintek center in Trondheim. The experimental results in regular waves are first compared between head and oblique seas. The statistical characteristics of the VBM amidships under nineteen irregular wave conditions are then investigated. Next, the extreme hogging and sagging VBMs are compared under different wave conditions with focus on the extreme hogging VBMs. At the end of the paper, the uncertainties in the experiments are discussed.  相似文献

The hydroelasticity of a very large floating plate with large deflections in multidirectional irregular waves is discussed. After a brief introduction on wave loads on a flexible structure, the paper derives the generalised fluid force acting on a floating structure in multidirectional irregular waves. The nonlinear sectional forces induced by the membrane forces in the plate are deduced. The hydroelastic response equations of a floating plate with large deflections in multidirectional irregular waves are established, and a solution method in the frequency domain is discussed including extreme value statistics. A very large floating structure is chosen as an example. The numerical results show that the influence of the membrane forces on the vertical displacements and the bending moments is noticeable but not that large.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the hydroelastic responses and hydrodynamic interactions of two large floating fuel storage modules placed side-by-side with the presence of floating breakwaters. These modules and breakwaters form the floating fuel storage facility (FFSF). The floating storage modules and breakwaters are modeled as plates and the linear wave theory is used to model the water waves in the numerical model. The numerical model is verified with existing numerical results and validated with experimental test. Numerical simulations are performed to determine the hydroelastic behavior and hydrodynamic interactions of floating storage modules placed adjacent to each other and enclosed by floating breakwaters under various incident wave angles. The effects of breakwaters, drafts, channel spacing formed by the two adjacent modules and water depth on the hydroelastic responses of the modules are investigated. The wave induced responses of multiple floating storage modules enclosed by floating breakwaters are also examined.  相似文献

采用流固耦合(Fluid-Structure Interaction,FSI)的艇体波浪载荷和结构响应的数值分析方法,对顶浪、斜浪中复合材料双体艇结构的动态响应进行研究。分别建立了完整的复合材料艇体有限元模型以及流场模型,基于数值水池造波技术,通过计算获得了顶浪、斜浪中复合材料艇体结构的时域动态响应结果,选取高应力梯度区域,通过网格加密重构同时获得了复合材料的层间应力。选取具有代表性的前10大等效应力与内外面板最值主应力,在将 FSI与传统基于经验公式的有限元法(Finite Element Method,FEM)的结果对比中发现,FSI中拱、中垂的计算结果更接近于 FEM弯扭组合工况,而采用《钢制双体船直接计算指南》计算复合材料双体艇时,所用经验公式的顶浪航行波浪载荷计算值偏小。  相似文献

An accurate determination of the global load effects in a ship is vital for the design of the vessel. This paper addresses an experimental and numerical study of containership responses in severe head seas. Experimental results were obtained using a flexible model of a containership of newer design. The experiments showed that, taking hull flexibility into account, the fourth and sixth harmonic of the vertical bending moments had a maximum value of between 25% and 50% of the first harmonic. We also demonstrated that hull flexibility can increase the vertical bending moment by up to 35% in sea states relevant for design. Comparisons of moments found experimentally with results from a nonlinear hydroelastic strip theory method showed that the effect of nonlinearities on the rigid body moments was slightly over-predicted in the aft body. The method also tends to over-predict the increase of the bending moments due to hull flexibility. In general however, the numerical results compared reasonably well with the experimental ones.  相似文献

文章建立了波浪、海流和船体运动等载荷综合作用下的深水钻井隔水管非线性时域动力响应模型,模型考虑了顶部张力和隔水管内部泥浆对隔水管动力响应的影响,计人了张力沿隔水管长度的变化,并采用有限差分法求解了四阶偏微分运动方程.计算了随机波浪和规则波浪下船体运动对深水钻井隔水管非线性动力响应的影响,研究分析了船体平均偏移以及波频响应和低频响应的周期和幅值对深水钻井隔水管动力响应的影响.结果表明,船体运动对深水钻井隔水管动力响应有较大的影响,在随机波浪和海流作用下,考虑船体运动时,隔水管上部最大弯矩增大了59%.船体的平均偏移主要影响底部最大弯矩.船体波频运动对上部最大弯矩有较大影响,随着波频响应的周期和幅值的变化,上部最大弯矩变化较快,而低频响应的则主要影响隔水管上部弯矩.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a numerical study on the hydroelastic response of a 4.6 km long fjord crossing floating bridge subjected to wave loads. The bridge is straight in design and supported by 35 pontoons along its full length. To limit the response to horizontal loads, four clusters of deep water mooring lines are engaged to increase the transverse stiffness of the bridge. Owing to the very large span across the fjord, inhomogeneity in the wave field exists. This study examines the various effects of inhomogeneous wave loads on the dynamic responses of the floating bridge. These include the spatial variations of the wave direction, significant wave height and peak period as well as the coherence and correlation of waves along the entire length of the floating bridge. For the purpose of comparison, the dynamic bridge responses under homogeneous wave load cases are also studied. In addition, the effects of wave load components and short-crestedness are presented and discussed.  相似文献

本文从入射波的波浪现实出发,用非线性水弹性积分─微分法进行船体运动和结构动响应的时间历程模拟,直接将试验测量结果与理论计算在时域内作比较,这有利于揭示砰击和上浪等非线性瞬态作用导致冲荡响应的力学机理。这种模拟及其验证方法避免了对理论和试验结果的统计特性进行比较时,因子样长度的限制和数据处理过程所带来的不确定性,比峰值比较更能说明波激响应数学模型的精确性和可靠性。  相似文献

文章采用基于任意拉格朗日—欧拉(ALE)算法的显式有限元技术研究水弹性砰击现象,针对已开展的铝制加筋板楔形体结构入水砰击模型实验,开展了数值模拟比较工作。该楔形体底部斜升角为20度,底部两侧是包含三根纵骨和两根横梁的加筋板结构,两侧结构刚度不同。预报了模型无转角和有转角典型工况的砰击入水过程,得到的入水加速度、底部加筋板结构纵骨应力和横梁响应与模型实验结果吻合较好。研究表明该ALE算法具备模拟船舶局部结构的水弹性砰击流固耦合问题的能力。  相似文献

用简化解析方法和有限元数值方法,分析了双壳型船体货舱区域在运载高温液货时的稳态温度场;根据船体结构的温度分布,用有限元法计算了其温度应力,同时与货物压力、海水静动压力、总纵弯矩等载荷作用下的结构应力做了比较。研究结果表明:在货舱结构温度场分析中用简化分析方法和有限元数值方法所得的计算结果相当一致;高温液货大幅度增加船体结构的纵向应力和横向应力,同时加剧结构不连续处的应力集中;槽型舱壁可以有效地释放  相似文献
